Why and who needs an intranet?

The major function of an Intranet is to connect colleagues with information. It may include functions like simple company announcements, various company forms, calendaring, document management, resource booking management, etc. A good intranet can facilitate colleague communication and collaboration, establish company transparency and employee loyalty.

Staff Directory

When a company grows to a certain size, colleagues probably do not know all other colleagues. A staff directory helps build transparency in your company. Colleagues can look up other’s duty, responsibility and contact information like email and telephone extension easily.

Calendar

An internal company calendar can help different departments to arrange meetings, appointments and events easily. Colleagues can also share and sync their calendar to other systems like Office 365, Outlook Exchange and mobile phone.

Enrolment Management

Many company events like training sessions would involve enrollment. The enrolment management system allows you to config the enrolment whitelist, enrolment cap and deadline. You may also set up an approval flow to the event such as requiring department head approval.

Document Management
